Question of the Day, 8/13 …

Is there a restart button? — @jaydieguez

Here, press this and see if it works …

… Nope. It’s still Aug. 13 and the Angels have lost nine of their last 12 games, including three of four against the lowly Mariners and Indians to start a homestand in which they hoped to gain some valuable ground in the standings. It goes without saying that the Angels need to quickly figure it out. They look a lot like the team that struggled through April — except, you know, it’s a lot later than that now. One thing that may help you feel better: Two of the teams ahead of them in the Wild Card race, the Orioles and A’s, don’t figure to have much staying power. (But, then again, who knows in this game.)

Yeah, next year.

Remember when we were 7 and 15, we cut loose Abreu and our “team” comes together. Since Vernon Wells was activated I think we’re around 3 and 9. We need to stick with the lineup that was winning and forget about certain players feelings. Vernon is a great guy but a cancer to the club. Trumbo, Trout and Morales need to know that when they come to the park, they’re penciled in.
